This is an excellent question, I hope it gets preached. Tho I wonder if the sermon will actuall build us up or just discourage us and create doubt? |

I wouldn't worry about it creating doubt - Pastor Mark obviously has a very strong faith in Christ, and so if he struggles with believing some things but still is able to carry on as a Christian, it should encourage any of the rest of us that are struggling. It's not as if he's going to get up there and say "I just never really bought the whole propiciation thing" .... I think.... |

I don't think its creating doubt. Its just wondering what the honest struggles are even if they are small things. It would really be interesting to hear that. Mark is a real dude who probably has theological questions or struggles sometimes. Or is he perfect? |

I think it will allow some good apologetics to occur. He can bring up the most difficult of questions, search out the answer, then come and teach on his findings, having now increased in his confidence for God's Word. So, when he teaches us on it, it will ironically no longer be the "hardest" for him to believe. That is, unless he tells us that the Gospel is the hardest for him to believe (that God would be justified to forgive sinners). |

I AGREE, WHY IS THERE NO TEACHING ON SATAN'S KINGDOM OF DARKNESS WITHIN OUR HEARTS AND SOULS, AND ON THE KINGDOM OF LIGHT WHICH THE BIBLE SAYS IS THE INHERITANCE OF THE SAINTS. Not to mention 1James 1:5 or Acts 26:17, which is never taught in chruches. |
